Location of Charlotte Airport Car Rental Facility

With approximately 3,700 vehicle parking spaces, the Car Rental Center at Charlotte Airport is located inside the seven-story Hourly Parking Garage and occupies its first three levels. Operators sit in the Level 2 lobby, while vehicle pick-up, drop-off, and storage services are cleverly distributed throughout the rest of the facility.

If you would like to collect your car after deplaning, exit the arrivals hall/baggage claim area on the lower level and use the crosswalk to go across the shuttle/car lanes. Then, make your way to the hourly parking garage, and proceed to the Level 2 lobby, where the counters are. Keep in mind that Level 2 of the facility is actually the ground level of the building, so you don't need to use the elevator or escalator to get to your agency.

Car rental return

In order to return your vehicle, head towards the Hourly Deck, but don't take the first entrance you'll see on your left. Instead, drive past it and turn left a little further following the “Return” signage. Then, head to your supplier's designated drop-off area to park the car and wait for the manager to accept it.

Once you have completed the agreement and received your receipt, set off downstairs to the Level 2 lobby using the escalator/elevator on the south side of the building, and exit the structure via the sheltered walkway. Next, proceed through the shuttle/car lanes along the pedestrian crossing and enter the passenger terminal. If you want to access the Ticketing or Departures area, please use the elevator or escalator leading to the upper level.
